The White Sox erased a 7-3 deficit by plating 7 in the 6th, but the Blue Jays scored 3 in the bottom of the frame to tie it up at 10.

A Goldsmith solo shot gave the Sox an 11-10 edge, but for the 3rd game in a row, the Blue Jays rallied in their final at bat, pushing a pair across when Josh Sheehan's single with 2 gone in the 8th scored the winning runs.

Winning pitcher Pramuk relieved Hal Levin in the 6th, and smacked a 2-run dinger in the bottom of the inning. Pramuk, Sheehan and Guy Guiffre each had 3 RBIs.

The White Sox's left fielder Frank Grengo hit his first-ever home run.

Dale Morring lined a 2-RBI single to right breaking up a close game in the 6th as the Blue Jays played stellar "D" behind Mike Pramuk who was the winning pitcher in both games of the twin bill.

Morring, Sheehan, and Pramuk each went 2-for-3. Eddie Gamez had 2 RBIs without a hit.

In a warm-up between two of next weeks 1st round play-off contenders, the Mets and the Blue Jays battled it out with some good pitching and defense from both sides. It was a good game with the Mets scoring two in the bottom of the 7th to come within one of the Blue Jays but the Jays countered with 1 more in the 8th and two more in the 9th to pull out the victory.

With both teams meeting next week in the first round of the playoffs, it should be a great matchup to see who moves on! Good game Mets.
