For five innings it was a close game with the Mariners up 4-3 against the Rays. But in the sixth inning the Rays broke it open with two runs in the same inning and eight more runs over the next two innings. But it was Michaeldan "Mike" Hernandez who pitched 8 full innings, allowing 4 runs, 6 hits, and getting 3 strikeouts that help secure the win.

Great all around game for the SJ Reds. The Reds offense managed to put together 18 hits along with 4 home runs to cruise to an 11-3 win to start off divisional play.
