12 inning tug of war... Royals win in walk off fashion as Casey Tauscher drove in John Angleson to give the Royals the series lead.

Joey Canter pitched 5 innings of shutout ball to get the win.

Another classic battle between the Mariners and Orioles.

O's did all their scoring in the first four innings, then relied on defense to hang on for the win.

With a seemingly safe 3-run lead in the 9th, Homer connects for a 2-run HR to left to make the score 9-8. Steve Chase, then settles down and gets the final two outs to secure the win.

After pitching eight solid innings in the morning game, Andrew Sheehan goes on to throw out two runners trying to steal second, and hits a 2-run HR.

Orioles outfielders came through with several outstanding plays.

With the win the Orioles advance to their third consecutive Championship Series.

It was a long day between 2 determinded teams battling 10 innings in each game with each getting a win.

After a tough loss in Game One, the Red Sox rebound with 14 Runs, 6 in the top of the 10th to take the nightcap.

Ben Hartshorn added to his 3-3 first game performance by going 4-5 with a 2-run blast in the top of the 9th. Hartshorn was 7-8 on the day with 2 home runs, a double, and 4 singles. He had some help from Kevin Angelinovich who provided 4 RBIs and a 3-Run HR of his own in the nightcap.

Both teams will battle one last time next week to crown a champion.
